: Well, since a soldier never actually reloads the rifle, I'm of the opinion it has an ''infinite'' clip. The unit is merely forced to fire one round at a time, like the shotgun, but the shotgun does have a reload. How badly was this thing nerfed? It said everyone started using the Carbine after the patch... --AvalancheO 21:16, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

Quite badly, if I remember right. Not as fast a fire rate, and RG spam was out of the question-Branabus, minor WikiMod.png
Yep, too bad. Guess it is not realistic to have a person who can rapidly fire 5 rifle grenades. --Riderx Talk~Contibs~My Guide Officer 17:12, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

What's with the Table of Contents? Its kinda sticking out weird.. --Brutalized 00:45, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, that oughta be removed. I'm going to revise the page as well, along with the Tommy. They contain more of the dreaded incorrect terms. --Bersimontalk Admin 02:11, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
Just a little pet peeve of mine, try to stay away from using "accuracy", because the gun really doesn't determine accuracy, the rifle skill of the user does. The range malus of the gun however, determines accuracy from outside a specific range, but not the gun itself. I know I probably sound silly. :P But saying stuff like "this gun is more accurate than that" doesn't give the true facts, because they don't specify ranges.--Brutalized 02:54, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
Gotcha :) It usually means the gun suffers less malus outside of range, but alright. --Bersimontalk Admin 15:49, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, that is true, but it gives the impression that the gun itself is more accurate, at any range. I used to believe that myself when I first started and read the wiki articles on the guns. --Brutalized 23:41, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Propose Split

I really think scoped springfield should be its own page; it is, after all, a different weapon. --Riderx T~C~Guide Modicer 00:17, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

Yeah. I remember feeling odd about it when the weapon pages were being made and someone put it here, but didn't think in this last edit that there was much to say about the scoped weapon to move it apart. I leave the decision to Branabus. --Bersimontalk Admin 02:22, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
I agree. It's quite different from the Springfield, enough to merit its own page. I'll move it over.
