The Madsen is a sub-machinegun made available via killcard. The weapon is fairly good in all aspects being in the middle ground in comparison to all other SMG's. Madsens weaknesses are its very low range (second lowest of all American weapons) and high bulk in comparison to other SMG's. The weapon is best used in combination of high stealth and close quarters combat where the weapons decent damage can be put to use.
The M-50 Madsen is a sub-machinegun produced in the 1950s by Danish firearms company Dansk Industri Syndikat. The weapon proved to be popular in South America and was sold to almost all countries in the region. M-50 also founds its place in the theater of Vietnam War in the hands of ARVN troops. American Green Berets and SEAL teams used the weapons and a number were supplied to the indigenous Degar people. The weapon was praised for its small size, reliability and ease of use.
