The BTR is a Soviet armored personnel carrier that the NVA utilizes to bring heavy firepower and troops on to the Ranger team. It is equipped with a KPVT machine gun that fires small high explosive rounds and can deploy a small group of NVA. It is impervious to small arms fire (all fire actually due to a bug) but anti tank weapons such as the M72 LAW and direct or near hits from support can take it out.
