This was the original MnB: a WWI trench warfare simulator that was so complex and brutal it scared the betatesters away. Released in 2002, it has been recalled since.
The game had about 8 levels and all the soldiers were static. The game was about timing when to open fire, when to go over the top and when to send missions. All these calls were to be made based on cues such as recon patrols, observation of the enemy and weather.
The game released to about 10 or 20 people and was in French.
It was succeeded by Mud and Blood: Vietnam.
