  • Well if there will be no map square, then at least the map should at least roughly show where you are. I overshot it because, well, I have no idea where the heck my camera is when I’m trying to order a Recon Unit that I split off from the main group back to the main group because the main group was under fire unexpectedly as I essentially…[Read more]

  • Well, I don’t think it’s fun fighting a UI more than the enemy to be fair, but hey I’m not the guy who chooses what is added and not.

But like I said, not even military simulators such as ARMA have such poor navigation, the map actually looks like a map, and it gives you a rough idea of navigation even in thick jungle.

The jungle only looks all…[Read more]

  • In response to Lance
    1. Arrows to Other Friendly units
Without any indication on where on the map you are looking, I have more than once had one ranger go off, only for my remaining squad to end up in contact and have my lone ranger try to return only to overshoot in one direction by an entire grid sector due to the total lack of any aid. Before…[Read more]

  • I’m not 100% sure what happened, but I missed out a point, edited it, and the post vanished. I then posted it again using the edit log which thankfully was intact.

  • I still find it highly irregular that friendly units will aim directly at other friendly units. That just doesn’t happen in real warfare unless you don’t know the friendly unit is there, or is friendly, neither of which apply to Mud and Blood’s defence scenario.

But if it’s here to stay, while part of the game, can get far too much, since the…[Read more]

  • Okay so I’ve come from Recon with experience in other strategy games, including Mud and Blood 2 so I am familiar with how things work, although I’d hardly consider myself the most experienced.
While playing Mud and Blood Recon, I’ve noticed quite a few things missing, making the game harder for no good reason simply by the UI not being very helpf…[Read more]

  • I have been playing Mud and Blood 2 for quite some time, although only recently have I started actually seriously playing it.

I have noticed a few things that could be added to the game.

    1. Gunnery training for vehicles
Given that most vehicles simply don’t respond to orders, it is only to be expected that they cannot be trained either. This can…[Read more]

  • Mud and Blood is pretty much known for random friendly fire as much as it’s brutal nature, however, it get’s a little ridiculous at times where AT or AAA units will literally aim directly at friendly units for no good reason, like to try to take down an armoured car that has no gunner left to actually be a threat, or an AT gun targeting an empty…[Read more]
