  • Well, I think that is a good idea for the new missions, I REALLY want custom clothing to be added in for your Rangers. Uniforms should be unlocked by rank, but, other things (like better armor and what not) should be unlocked via killcard. Or, just get to Brigadier General/Colonel Rank.

  • Holy Jeebus, that is cool, I might have to do this now on my own account.

  • Another thing that I find helpful, have a log of things that happen during your tour, like missions, your rangers, mail box, and enemy activity like their readiness and all that.

  • Well, you can’t set the LZ, if you are a captain, you can use a smoke grenade to call in for the secondary LZ. You have to click on the huey channel “Request Extraction at Secondary LZ” and call in the EVAC at an open area. Meaning, no trees or bushes, rocks don’t count though.

  • Well, I don’t know too much about the dead drop missions, All I know is that I can’t do them well and you have to remain unspotted. If you know you are going to have difficulty with a mission, have some CAS on stand-by and pop smoke. Have plenty of AT and AP weaponry on your rangers, if you have the M79, use it. If you don’t, use Grenades, M18s and M72s.

  • Few ‘bugs’ I think I found in MnB2, My medic took a direct hit from a Pak cannon and still had 100 HP. Also, a PG took a direct hit from a mortar AND a rocket and didn’t die or gib. I don’t know if its apart of the game or not. Maybe its just another URB thing? Cheers!

Okay, didn’t know what to do.

You know you’ve messed up when Sarge has no Morale.

    • You’re right. You and the rest of the world are definitely SOL when Sarge won’t stay and fight!

  • What I do is I get all my basic infantrymen outfitted with M1 Garands or Carbines, then continue to save up TP, buy at least six more riflemen, get them outfitted with some gear. Then, I like to one or two medics to run around and heal my people, I also like to have an officer, a radioman, an Anti-Tank guy, and Sarge. May not be the best tactic,…[Read more]

ten infantrymen, one officer, one medic, one bazooka, one radio man. I got to round 51 with that tactic!

    • Once I tired about Cam-net, somehow I will just let German air strike go and try to feel the full view of war. With this way, MNB2 never disappoint me.

Is there an ETA on when MnB3 might be released??

    • To quote urbzz : “Fairly soon my friend, need to buff the Germans capabilities and add the forest preset. then a victory condition. Then this goes in open beta and we can add ribbons together and laugh at your videos. Sounds good?”

      • Trust me guys I want this out as fast as I can but certain milestones need to be reached soon in order to sustain the expectations you all have from a premium hand crafted, locally grown, gluten free urb game.

Question about Recon, How do you know if the enemy Reinforcements are moving into your A/O during a Screen-in mission?

    • You need to spread your men out in a horizontal line throughout the AO, and each one needs a sensor thingy. Once they are spread out into a line, you need to deploy the sensors and click them. Once you click them, it will tell you how many enemies are in that area. Once you get 4+ enemies moving in an area, you can answer TOC and extract. That’s…[Read more]

    • That’s the whole point of the mission. It’s up to you to detect the upcoming wave, as the BirdDog is not going to report this one.
If you’re asking about the best method to do so, then I can agree on sensors being essential. The important thing to remember is that you have to remain undetected until you report the NVA arrival. That’s why hiding in…[Read more]

It may have been, I was so close though, I had all my paratroopers, they had Thompson’s, BARs, and M1 Garands. They also had grenades or rifle grenades, and knifes.

Well, I think its a good idea for two radio men, but the second one carries the stuff I would that Ranger would usually carry, but just a radio.

    • Yes! But you occupy a item space, which can provide you more vital equipment. Also add another 20 Bulks to the ranger. All of Recon mission should consider as bring four men back alive first, so I don’t suggest to take two radio. Or maybe in future we will have a small type radio as a kill card can be set as back up, but right now I still suggest…[Read more]

    It really does!

    • It does.
Some trivia: It was derived from URB’s username back then — Urbanprophet. Considering the difficulty of his games, a user came up with the URB acronym from his username, and it stuck.

Like that one. 🙂 Had it happen yesterday testing MNB3 with all Medics where I intended to go a 3rd round since all where doing so well and while moving the cursor from HOLD HERE to KEEP GOING I accidentally clicked to soon.
Maybe not an urbicide but still rather dürrr.
Would have been a hell of an awesome 3rd run.
