Umm….. That so-called link is a file on your computer. In order for that screenshot to be available for us to see, it must be first uploaded to an online image service which provides a link for the picture. Using that link we can see the contents of the image. imgur is a valid option for that.at #862at #876
Guess they are studying something together, and you just toss a grenade to bother their research time. XDDDDat #877
Hit the jackpot on this H/K mission! I managed to destroy a BTR-60, a ZSU-23, and 3 VC bikes! So here’s how it went.
My boys touch down and I immediately here the menacing rumble of a ZSU-23. No worries. I was expecting it because I have over 100% Intel. I immediately had my Rangers dash for cover behind a nearby cluster of trees. The ZSU-23 crashes through the vegetation, catching my men by surprise. It fires off a burst of about 10 rounds which hit 3 of my Rangers, fortunately none were badly wounded are all were still in the fight. A split-second later, I order one of my Rangers to fire one of the team’s four LAWs. It was fired at point blank so it hit its mark no problem.
Soon after, a platoon of Charlie start encircling us. I used fire-and-maneuver tactics and ample amounts of frags in order to stave off the attack. My little brood was driven south-west when a similar rumble was heard. A BTR-60, locked and loaded and closing fast. This time I was better positioned for an ambush. I fired another LAW at the vehicle, leading it slightly to ensure a direct hit. Whoosh! With a terrific explosion, it too fell victim to the predatory Lurps.
I repositioned my Rangers back onto the rock in the picture and continued slaughtering dispersed VC. A short while after, 3 bikes decided now would be a good time to deliver their cargo. They were immediately lit up with 762 and frags. I looted everything and found loads of useful Intel. I also took a picture of the carnage as a keepsake. Ah! Job well done. Rangers lead the way!
If you look carefully, you can see three discarded LAWs in the picture. Two of them are right next to my Rangers. One of those took out the ZSU-23 above and the other was fired into a crowd of VC shortly before evac arrived. The third LAW is on the bottom-left; that one destroyed the BTR-60.
And of course, the score screen:at #878
Fantasy Pic brother, never seen something like this. Bike and Zsu23 plu BTR, guess if they send you a jeep you have a full collection on this.
I would say you are truly Ambush Master in Recon. ( Maybe Rambo?! XDDD)
When you know there will be a HVT, use stealth Insert or get in with some mission will walk in, this will prevent the early damage from HVT shell. >o<
Nice fight!at #879
Damn. Now that is awesome.at #884
So, I read on the Wiki that black foot-trails are telling you that enemies are usualy moving through that area frequently, and that it’s a good ambush point. Being new to this game, I was all for the “Ambush” stuff. Y’know, making me feel like Rambo with his M60 and explosive tipped arrows. I found the foot path and waited. Waited, waited, and waited even more. About 8 minutes later, I thought that I got there too late, so I tried moving my guys away to a new location. None of them moved, and I realized at that moment that I was a complete dumbass… The game was paused xD. I unpaused the game and immediately felt better After my ambush successfully killed 11 VC. (Couldn’t fit all in screenshot)at #886
Hahaha. Nice work.
Sometimes in an ambush I get more than I’m paying for, ending up with 30 or so VC on my tail.at #887
I had a friend who played recon before I was too interested in it and in one of his firebase missions had 2 trails in right outside of the firebase… only one ranger came out. there were over 100 VC on his ass, but the gunners on the Huey mowed ’em down.at #890
Hey, could someone post me a pic of a Dac Cong unit? Never seen one before, don’t know if they really exist.
