Last game I played I stepped 2 times in a mine what was inside a bush.
How to avoid situations like that?

Don’t talk into bushes. If it’s a hedgerow, blow it up with explosives.

The only issues with avoiding bushes is:
    1) Bushes often offer the ONLY concealment on a field.
    2) If we avoid bushes, they’ll start putting them under trees, or on top of rocks.

I’m pretty sure avoiding mines isn’t gonna be an absolute, as it assuredly is not in the real world.
I’d think the best way is to go slow & keep your eyes open, or just ‘Go-With-It’ and keep a steady pace and pray. 🙁 Alot.

🙂 Sure ya can Keni !!
It’s not that hard of a process either really. When you find a mine place all your man apprx 2 pixels under it, find a spot directly ahead of it by about 100 pixels, press #9, click that spot! Easy-Peasy! 😀

When your men cross the mine it will most assuredly go BOOM!!!

    🙁

..of course your men will also be riding that great deuce-n-half in the sky, but Hey! The mines gone, right? 😮

I think this is the best encouragement for the soldier to step on the mind I ever heard. Well, I think I like it. >o<

Be grateful, at least now you can see them, the real WW2 soldier and Recon ranger don’t have this good luck. XDDD

But In Recon you make mines harmless and easy to spot if your skills are good
and mines were very rare if you used intel points to reduse the amout of them. 🙁
In MnB3 it is impossible dodge mines inside long vertical bushes.

Good old times in Recon ;(

When are we gonna be able to destroy/disarm them?

I have a neat and simple idea on how mines could work.
Firstly place them like they where in the last working patch. Visible but possibly hidden under something like a tree or rubble or bushes.
To make them effective as a deterrent to stop the player in multiple leg plays (past 5 in a row) the game could create dense mine fields.
Important be that there must be a way to get across with infantry but there also must be enough mines in that visible field so that the player will have a hard time moving ahead, especially when under fire.
    Would that be good?
