I found this web site with very interesting info about D-Day. Maybe we can use it for getting some ideas for MNB3:

LtHunter started a very good topic here.
I found a nice home made video of a US WW2 vintage vehicles with infantry gathering done a few years ago or so. Nice to see Stuarts, Half-Track and Jeeps in modern optics.
    Sound could be better. https://youtu.be/uOHyQjderV4

Here a mix of mainly German Infantry and Vehicles vs British Infantry doing modern war gaming. https://youtu.be/01bgunt3zQM

A good page I stumbled across that explains German WW2 Squads nicely.

This channel has a few good sections for D-Day and onward historical explanationing.
In one of these it is well explained as to why things go from relative easy to hard along the way on The Road to Victory.

Oh Extra History is the shit. I blame World War II entirely on Walepole.

That’s a bit rough with that channel. I simply like how they present mankind’s worst moments in a way that it is not to cruel to a younger audience
Guess those last vids do not help to much in game development but maybe to get a broader picture of things.

Found this article on St.Lo and the Hedgerows. This is gold people!

Been looking at a few WW2 US Squad vids and this one seams like a very useful watch as to contribute to a better MNB3 game play.
Game production wise it could also be a good thing.

Excellent and informative video, Sayyed Lance. It’s quite a lot to remember, honestly, but I guess that’s what training relentlessly is for. Good to see I actually do some of these (Fire and Movement, boys!) and that MnB 3 and Recon seem to simulate the above very accurately. Would be interesting to see how much the tactics changed in Vietnam, if at all.

Agreed. Bro, you drop some nice videos on here. Can’t say I watched ALL of it, but I did skim through it and liked what I saw. Maybe I’ll watch it in 3-10min segments, make it easier to digest.

And Tyrud, I’d think they would have to perpetually change to account for gained intelligence on the opponents side. Maybe the basic idea would hold true, just altered.
