Im surprised this game doesnt have such a good rating, its because of the whining people who can barely make it to wave 14 because the game is "very unfair and boring", do you think the WW2 soldiers had time to say, this is unfair and stupid, no they couldnt whine at all because they heads were being shot at. So come on and delete your 1 star rating.

Holy Crap. Used the RedxWings Guide To The Victoria Cross. worked amazingly. got to almost level 100, and a lucky grenade took out my mortar trench, camnet and almost all of my men, the rest lost moral and ran. One gunner stayed, and lasted 20 waves of pure hell, only letting 1 infiltrator get by before he was overrun by a blitz wave. It is an honor to have served with you I. Valazquez, may you RIP.

lol, i had a soldier, who stayed from the beginning of the game till the end with rifle skill of 92 , exp 100, morale 70, Bar and grendes, was alone against 2 blitz wave , somehow he had a grenade machine gun which fires in bursts, 3 grenades every sec, destroyed the 2 tanks, but then died in honor

I've done extensive testing on both the frag protection of trees and rocks and they do indeed give a small amount (rocks more so than trees). The trunk that's left standing after a tree explodes gives no protection and only has a chance to stop bazooka bullets. Also, the Wiki is just like any other free information source out there - not 100% correct at all times. Pointless argument is rather pointless. (72)

Apparently 20 Frenchies at level 15 isn't highly looked upon by German artillery and Luftwaffe, because in 3 straight waves I got arty and then the next two rounds I got a V2 and two bombs. Total annihalation.

I am about to cry. I am doing really good (around wave 300 right now) and was getting a frenchie to NCO just for the heck of it. At 75 XP, a guy ran through my trench on fire (he ran through my mines in front of the bunker). Guess who was the only person to catch on fire? Yep.

Pro Tip: Never EVER hire a specops in the middle of a fight as sometime they will throw a grenade instantly on deployment(He does this because of no EXP) With this "Instant grenade launch" they often destroy your squad in one shot. This results in ragequit

Send in a medic, medic gets shot and incapacitated at 1 health. Send in another medic to heal that medic, second medic gets shot and incapacitated at 7 health. Send in a third medic to heal both of the other two, puts me over six-man limit, airstrike blows all three up. Ah, the brutality. XD

Their friendly fire is really annoying, and when a fast german comes running across your lines, you can't avoid the tank trying to kill your army.

engineers should be able to make sniper towers for snipers, then when the snipers get in the sniper tower they do more damage and shoot faster. i dont know why i type all this because it will probably be gone in about 5 minutes

I was playing and had a crate drop directly on three of my guys. My Frenchie grabs it, pulls the SpecOps guy out, and throws him in the way of a nearby flamethrower. My whole squad died in a chain reaction of flames. It was epic.

My little X-mas story (how I got the x-mas medal): Everything is going fine. If this would go steady (of cuorse it wouldn't) I could last a 100 waves more. Then santa appears. I try to blow him up by deploing some mines. Fail. I arm soldiers with explosives. Fail. (A big mistake...) And, since I reaally want santa dead, I called airstrikes. Most of people died in it, my engineer stepped on a mine, and one lucky throw from a soldier gibbed santa. Game failed, but I got the medal, so it was worth it!

Urbz, if you are going to continue to update MNB2, here's some suggestions: -Trees should work as camo nets and soldiers under them should not count toward your limit of 6 -Stationary MG's should come with sandbags and fire faster, maybe for 7 or 8 TPs. -Foxholes: one man only can be inside it, extra high bullet protection, if a grenade gets in, it only damages (blows up) the person in it, no damage from explosions outside the hole, and slower firing speed. 2 TPs -Sarges should count as officers. Look at 1st sgt Jesse Adams. He led his platoon of paratroopers in WWII. Sargents can give orders. -Bunkers blow up really easily. I know it's "Unfair brutality." but they should take at least 2 hits before blowing up. And chunks should hurt soldiers if they get hit. -Engineers should be able to put down air drop guidance flares. They bring air drops closer to your lines for just 2 TPs. -Officers aren't always that skilled: Snipers should be able to get rid of infiltrators too.

For ppl who think its hard and unfair: Watch some movies about WW2 (not rambo, but documentary instead) Play call of duty 1 and 2 on the hardest and try without dying even once during the whole game. Play company of heroes and get amazed by 3 expert computer massing you with artillery, and you cant even wonder where they come from, cause while you find out your army is dead cause you wont put em fast to cover. Dont expect from a game that you will start with a hero who never dies and kills everyone with a single fatal shot. You have to fall to face, then stand up, and repeat, till you get there. I love games with realism, and this one is awesome!!! Mud and blood, I think this explains war...

Well.. an Opel truck just drove all the way down to the bottom of the screen (I had one inactive sniper and a bunkered gunner left). One Volksturm jumps out, and proceeds to run all way the way back up the screen XD

This is (and has been for awhile) one of my favorite games on kongregate, or really anywhere online. If I could make one suggestion, this would be it: show us warnings about incoming arty fire, planes, etc; in a different place than where descriptions of everything are shown. It's annoying being caught off guard by these things because you mouse over a button or enemy or something

N.Gullisken...my best sniper. He managed to get himself to a lieutenant and started as a recruit. I started the round from scratch, choosing to go for a sniper round. So I got a gunner, two scouts, 4 snipers, one officer and one AA gun. Two nukes took out 3 snipers, my AA and my gunner. N.Gullisken stayed with my officer, whos morale was lame. After a missed grenade, he ran away. N.Gullisken stayed, which got me to round 87. Soilders like him won WW2.

WOAH! My game just gave me a hug! 3 crates dropped at the exact same time on the first level and my officer picked up all 3! I got 1 medic, 1 spec ops, and 5 exp. from them! 20 xp Officer at beginning! The game CAN LOVE YOU BACK!

Wespe Blitz Wave. Clark and White we're like brothers, fighting side by side for 50 waves straight. 70+ Rifle and 60+ experience, they fought over kills. When the tanks came, they stayed and fought as everyone around them died. Clark was the first to go, White always was the better shooter. But he didn't last long after that, it was Hell on Earth. RIP.

i see Tip: This game will not treat you fairly, i get a little laugh out of it. until.... i look down and see my own bazooka guy miss enemy tank and kill the AA gun and 4 of my spec ops people. 2 waves after me barely surviving i get a total blitz wave and am slaughtered.

thekiller25901, I think your right. What people don't realise is this game isn't supposed to be like any other strategy game. It is supposed to be realisitic. In World War 2, in Normandy, you wouldn't dictate to the enemy who they spawned, so they have total freedom. This is like Minecraft in the sense that you could spawn in a desert, and almost certainly die, or spawn in a rainforest, and thrive. So, people, if you moan about it being unfair. Go to helll, which is the least I can say. Again, this ISN'T supposed to be fair, it's supposed to be realistic

got to wave 55, had an awesome defence, my camo net covering my 4 original defualt soldiers got blown up by a frag, then wave 56 was an arty blitz, i got about 17 rounds, killing everybody except officer and sig, then a panzergranadier blew up my empty AAA cannon, and when i went to call a bomb drop with my last 3 tactical points, my signaller got 3 hit killed in a bunker halfway into calling the bomb drop. This happened within a minute. LOL...this is the games way of saying FU.

Funny thing just happened...i had a solider disabled while CQCing...The one who disabled him just stood there afterwards. After a couple of waves when i got a medic to heal the solider, He just got up and punched the german to death in one hit xD

This game is one ive been playing since it came out....this game is not a "hand holder" for sure, and its always a game i come back to play over and over again. good job urbz ______M.V.K.______ (Most Valuable Killers) P. Cox - Gunner 167 kills - Accuracy 93 C.O.D - Got stabbed in the back by some dude with a cape at wave 93. R.I.P L. Vasques - Sniper 247 kills - Accuracy 121 C.O.D. - When the chips were down he stood ground, dug in, and lasted 15 waves by himself. Then got a panzer shell in the face. R.I.P. Mr. Awesome (A.K.A. - T. Jarred) - Ranger 131 Kills - Accuracy 59 (With that stupid pistol) C.O.D - While the massive blitz wave hit at WAVE 76, he single handedly held the line while i was w8ing to send in more troops. Lasted over 10 rounds alone with the hellish bullet storm. Then came the Grenadier and blasted him to bits R.I.P.

I don't get why, but in every game I think I've ever played there's always a unil that never fires or that ceaces to fire. Mostly it's a bazooka but the most recent was an AAA. I hope this is fixed because that was a complete waste of 20 tp.

@uberpizza This game omits factors of cover i.e land relief. If you were in a ditch with another man firing at you in real life, i'm pretty sure you would struggle with the concept of sticking your head up to shoot them. Real war has known instances where men have fought 1 metre away from eachother, firing bullets over their cover in vain. Life is not call of duty, buddy.

I love how after 25 waves, I'm still stuck with guys who can't hit an enemy at point blank range, they get trucks, and I still haven't gotten a single ****ing supply crate.

@vicente 36 Don't go over the 6 man rule. Whatever you do, don't have more the six men that arent under a camnet. If you do, "enemy planes have an easier time spotting larger squads". So first thing I do is get an engineer and build a trench and camnet. Put your point man (best soldier) in the trench with a couple of supporting units. Get an officer and signaler to go under the camnet n call some sitreps to rank up the signaler. Use him to counter any shit your soldier's can't handle. Then improvise from there. Lots of strategies, it's a hit and miss most of the time. Give it your best, sometimes you'll get dealt a good hand and sometimes you'll get a Wespe Blitz wave..

I think there should be a weapon option for Binoculars, it would allow your soldiers to locate the spies at a wider range.

just got my defences set up whent eh cheeky germans decided to deploy a mortar.... so basically this dude is a bad shot.... all of his shots missed my men... but he managed to kill 3 of his own men and then kill a fourth but he got a rank up. see guys i told you if you tell teh enemy we have cookies they will surely join your cause.

Wow I remember the days of getting past wave 100. Now everytime I play something really silly happens and I get armor really early on (50-70) and since zooks have been completely nerfed...you can kiss bunker bye byes (.30 cal guy tries so hard to take out armor...breaks my lil heart)

i got a super soldier!! under rifle skill is says N/a he seriously never misses! he is dressed totally in black and when i move the crusor over him all it says is "one in a trillion". understand this i gave him a tommy gun and he never misses!!!

i like the idea of the game, but i think it needs more work. the AI sucks. i call a bazooka guy, first thing he does is firing on his own guys. more tactical points would be nice, or what are you supposed to do if an enemy air strike kills 2/3 of your men? choosing your own target would be great, too. my men did rather attack some normal enemy soldiers, not the machine gunner who killed them one by one. thats just frustrating. but hey, i think it would be worth the effort!

The game is great. I gave it a 4/5. It is totally random. andalusia, the sniper is the only one who prioritizes targets. that is why he is expensive. also the BAR rifle is top notch. just put it the hands of some1 with a high rifle rating. I had a guy with 70 rifle and i got him the BAR. he killed over 100 krauts.

it is all beginning to make sense now, after playing for a while. it would not be a bad decision to include more information on how to achieve ranks and ribbons. a mute button would be nice as well.

Okay, this game is not too bad, but still needs some serious work. Or a good walkthrough, I don't like having to figure out everything(!) by myself. And I agree with the other guys, there should be something to speed the gaining of tactical points up.

I've actualy found that sticking a bunch of french resistance soldiers with shotguns gives a bigger bang for your buck( no pun intended) than getting regular soldiers.
